Born in Troy, New York and reared in southeastern New Mexico, Ann Taylor has been a resident of Corrales since 1979. Ann graduated from Texas Tech University with a major in English and a minor in French. After college and a brief teaching career Ann married A.C.Taylor and move to his family ranch. From there Ann, her husband and two daughters transitioned to Albuquerque in 1976 and then Corrales in 1979.

Ann, a gregarious, personable person, has divided her time between making people happy with new homes and giving back to her community. "I find it easy to sell the Corrales lifestyle since I enjoy being a part of every phase of it." A past president and board member of Corrales MainStreet Ann co-chaired the Quilt & Wine Fair and chaired the Economic Development Committee.  Ann helped put Corrales on the map as a desirable place to buy a home and live by being named 19th out of the "100 Best Places to Live" by Money Magazine." My two proudest moments were when I received Governor Richardson's 2008 MainStreet Leadership Award and Corrales received the Money Magazine designation."

As Chairman of the Mayor's Comprehensive Plan Review and Revision task force Ann used her real estate background to help draft new ordinances and revise old ones to make the Village a better place in which to live, purchase a home and do business.

The rich history and culture of the Village attracted Ann to be a docent at Casa San Ysidro Museum and the the Old Church where she could demonstrate the educational and cultural aspects that make Corrales such a wonderful place to live.

Along with being involved in business, government and cultural entities of Corrales, Ann also participates in the Kiwanis Club doing service projects for children and the community and networking with business owners.

After spending many fond years in Corrales Ann feels that the Village needs a brokerage with a thorough knowledge of Corrales-the history, terrain, culture, traditions and ambitions. "No one knows or can sell Corrales better than Ann Taylor."
 

A Professional Realtor since 1984 holding both the CRS and Certified New Home Specialist designations. Ann is a former director of the GAAR Board of Directors and a graduate of GAAR's Leadership Program. She has served as a Sales Manager for several builder-developers and presently specializes in residential and land sales.
